Feminity is what you feel not what you see. The way to empower woman starting from within.

Feminity is a blessing.
But only when you own it.
Feminity is a blessing. But only when you own it.

I believe and I know we have the power within ourselves, that’s why my task now is to go
deep within the emotional world of women and to start looking for what we have that is
special and how we can appreciate ourselves instead. By doing this project I realized that
there are beliefs based on environment, society, age and experience, not only from the present but also from the past, as those convictions are passed on to next generations.
Healing starts from awareness. When we know where our struggles come from and why we
believe certain things, we can start the journey of opening up to what’s new to come.
My goal now is to change the direction of my thoughts into positive ones by asking the right
questions, and not only for myself. My project is about empowering those deep places in
women that need to be healed and appreciated.
The Canon of beauty is always changing and we should not strictly follow what is popular.
That will not make us better or happier. I truly believe that femininity is not what you see
but what you feel and that will always show.

The subject of my work was to find the origins of the contemporary sense of femininity. Certainly, the origins can already be found in antiquity. The role of a woman was very
limited. Centuries have passed and the struggle for equal rights continues. We went through
various stages, including wars in which women became very independent and proved their
strength and determination. I have the impression that, despite it all, women have never
been appreciated enough, even when they were "only" responsible for having children and
running the house. Treated as subordinate, judged for their physicality and emotionality. I
wanted to delve into the history because of my curiosity. Where did so deeply entrenched
beliefs such as the lack of self-confidence and faith in one's abilities come from? I am watching women now, I am watching myself, and I see that we must fight not only for recognition
in the world but also each one of us fights this battle internally in order to be able to think
better about herself.
The history of our existence is very interesting, one may say psychological. I chose this topic
because I wanted to broaden my knowledge, go back to the past and at least metaphorically
experience what happened. I firmly believe that certain beliefs and conditions have their
source even in ancient times.
I became interested in the subject primarily after reading many articles about war situations,
about the treatment of women, about what they had to face. The traumas they experienced
influenced their further lives and the lives of their children. I thought about it very deeply,
even when I was interviewing my grandmothers, asking about their past. I must admit that
this is not a topic that they want to talk about. Following this path, I went back more and
more into the past until I reached the oldest historical records. Not only was the life of
women of interest to me, but also the changing canons of beauty.
The bottom line of all this work is that we have been struggling with the beliefs and views
imposed on us to this day. It is moving forward, sometimes we achieve equal rights, but unfortunately it is still a battle that we have to fight.
Certain things, emotions stay with us for generations.
I believe it is time to deal with them.
And the canons of beauty? They will always change, sometimes even turn back. I guess we
should not give ourselves to them, because beauty is a relative matter.
It is strength, truth, self-esteem that makes us the most feminine.
