The Citizens of Maastricht

The Citizens of Maastricht

In honour of the 200th anniversary of the Maastricht Institute of Arts, Les Deux Garçons designed the sculpture group “The Citizens of Maastricht”. Since 2000, Atelier Les Deux Garçons has been formed by Michel Vanderheijden van Tinteren (1965) and Roel Moonen (1966), both of whom studied at our institute.

The sculpture group was ceremoniously unveiled by the mayor of Maastricht, Wim Hillenaar.
