Have you ever noticed that there are many parking spaces for cars in the city centre, while bicycles often end up next to a crowded bicycle rack or on the pavement? Through my graduation project, I aim to help bicycle enthusiasts and supporters of a clean, safe, and calm city centre to claim more space for bicycles and cyclists. It is only by doing this that we will be able to get people out of their cars and onto their bikes.

I aim to appeal to the target group and establish a community of supporters in order to enter into the dialogue with the municipality’s policy advisers through unconventional and eye-catching communication media such as labels to be affixed to bicycle handles or a bicycle rack in the shape of a wrecked vehicle.
